My Kerbal Dakar 2017 entry, the Dakar Spider ND
(Updated) Minor tweaks to wheel setup plus seats lowered.
ND means No Decals… Sorry, the decals are custom, and could not be included.
Built on KSP ver 1.2.2
43 parts, 1734kg, 40kN of thrust, top speed of ~119m/s, cost of $10,059.
Only been tested on stage 1 and 2, official stage 1 time of 6:29
Some TweakScaling, and a minor tweak to the torque curve inside the config file of the wheels used, but unfortunately this upload will have the stock wheel config… this only drops the acceleration slightly, and decreased the top speed from 120m/s to about 115m/s
YES, this car does indeed fly… very well for a car actually… Get her up to speed, and pull back gently with the reaction wheels engaged and ENJOY!!
The mod TakeCommandContinued highly recommended.
