Designed to pick up the faintest signal from deep space probes, the Chessboard antenna has 14x the power of the level 3 DTS station. It is built with low part count and Karken resistance in mind.
After launching to the runway, extend the landing gears. Then back out (AG1) slowly down to the lawn. Drive to the SW corner of the KSC area so that it doesn’t get in the way of routine KSC operations. Then turn east-west so that the solar panels track properly. Retract the landing gears and extend all solar panels.
