Description

An 80% scale replica of the AV-8b Harrier Jump Jet used by the USMC

A stock aircraft called KV-8b. Built with 179 of the finest parts, its root part is noseConeAdapter.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.4.3.

Features:

-Smooth transition between VTOL, STOL, and Horizontal flight modes.

-Well balanced RCS for improved handling in VTOL flight

-6 wing mounted hard points for anything from scientific payload to drop tanks and weapons

-Easily Add/Remove oxidizer and fuel (just balance between front and back fuel tanks) for a variety of mission profiles

-Deploy-able flaps

Notes on transitioning to STOL:
1) Make sure engines are in VTOL mode with [1]
2) Press [2]
3) Change front Air brake deploy angle to 7
4) Press [1] again (you wont be able to adjust
throttle while in STOL mode)
5) To change to Horizontal flight press [2] and
change the deploy angle of the front air brake
back to 15

-Its a bit of a pain I know and I’m working on a better way, will update craft in the future
