Description

A stock propeller called K&K R-400-b Cyclone. Built with 36 of the finest parts, its root part is Mk1FuselageStructural.

The R-400 is a variant of the K&K R-404 Mule featuring internalized reaction wheels for easier installation. The R-400 is not quite as stable as the R-404, but its still stable enough to reload in flight quick saves though I would not recommend physics warping (time warp is fine when landed). Keep in mind when installing, you still can’t have any parts clipping through the structural fuselage or rubbing against the reaction wheels.

Used in the F4U Korsair

[Start up procedure]: -Stage to decouple propeller -Switch to propeller using the ] or [ key -Hold down alt+E until the plane starts moving forward (In the bottom right hand corner of the screen you will see a bar called Roll the further to the right the indicator is the faster the prop will spin).

[1st Gear]: The engine starts off with the propeller elevons not deployed but angled to give the maximum static thrust this is 1st gear and is best from 0-35m/s

[2nd Gear]: When you get up to around 35m/s switch to the propeller and right click on one of the elevons, (If your having trouble, try looking at the plane perpendicularly) and click on deploy this will angle the elevons to work best from 30-55m/s.

[3rd Gear]: Once at 55m/s right click on the elevon again and set the Authority Limiter to 150. This angle works best at 55-80 m/s.

Built in the Subassembly in KSP version 1.1.3.
