With the Jool 1’s success Rockomax Conglomerate has attempted to design a cheaper alternative: the Hermes 2 Series of lifters. Using the same solid rocket motors as the Jool 1 rocket and a stretched Hermes 1 upper stage, All of the fabrication facilities are already in place. It will only need a modified Hermes 1 launch tower, and Vab. If the price wasn’t already low enough, the hermes 2’s and hermes 2 heavy’s first stage are reusable via parachutes. With the help of IrateMercenary’s CV-3B it can transport 3 kerbals to LKO. Note, warranty void if an abort occurs during the srbs burn.
