A replica of the most powerful member of the Jupiter Rocket family designed for NASA’s DIRECT 3.0 proposal in 2009. The Direct Proposal was meant as an alternative to the Constellation Program’s Ares rockets. The Jupiter family reused many parts of the Shuttle program such as the External tank, SRB’s, and main engines.

About this build

Its able to carry around 60 tons to low Kerbin Orbit. This rocket is not optimised for payload and sacrifices a little bit of DeltaV for decorative parts. With this build I tried to Improve the level of detail I put on my builds. There was some clever use of parts involved to make the engine mount. Many small details such as the external fuel lines have been included for extra realism. Small things like Sepratron shrouds and custom interstage fairing are included.
