Description
The KXW-5 King is a very long range experimental drone designed to carry scientific missions. He is capable of supercruise as well as very high speed and high altitude flight. Its range is yet to be tested but is more than 15 000 km in HS/HA flight.
Progressive speedup during HS/HA is rerquired to prevent catashtrophic thermal shock of the wings during flight.
Optimal supercruise (dry-mode):
12000m @ Mach 2.0
Optimal HS/HA flight:
26000m @ Mach 4.71
Caution, wing can be hot after HS/HA, wait 10 minutes before openning.
