Description
Introducing the 1st of the pair of multi-role Versions of the Echo Launcher Family: The Echo Small Dual Purpose 1713 model.
The 1st stage utilizes the same configuration and settings that are used on all members of the Echo Launcher Family, however the things that set both the 1713 model and its sibling the 135 model is the way the boosters are set up as well as the 2nd stage.
Echo Launcher model 1713 utilizes a pair of SB-4 Taurus
Solid Fuel Boosters, set to a Thust Limit of 100 and a Gimbal of 30.
The 2nd stage is different from those in the Rhino Series, to fulfill its dual purpose design, the Echo Launcher can be attatched to both manned and unmanned payloads.
To switch from unmanned payload to manned payload, simply attatch the Echo Small to the manned payload as normal, then separate the stack at the 1st FL-R1 RCS Fuel Tank, then discard the components attatched to the bottom of the manned payload and reattatch the Launcher and you’ll be set for a manned variant of the Echo Launcher Family.
READ CAREFULLY FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
The downside of the Echo Launcher Small model 1713 Dual Purpose variant is that you can only equip it to loads that are 2.5m or smaller, anything wider will hamper the performance.
