Description
The Kerbal Institute for Heliology has made a satellite to be launched to GKO (Greater Kerbin Orbit). The probe contains 2 parts, the Orbiter, and the return sampler. the orbiter will stay in the probe’s intended orbit (58,000km x 25,000km), studying the effects of heliological radiation on spacecraft. The orbiter contains both a mangnometer, and a Radio Plasma Detector. The Return Sampler contains the main science experement of this mission, a Heliogical sample collector. The sampler will take the 4 radiation samples, and then seperate from the orbiter, and will return to Kerbin, giving us a great deal of info about stellar radiation.
A mod rocket called Helios-1. Built with 45 of the finest parts, its root part is miniFuelTank.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.2.2.
