Description

The M-21 Blackbird was a mothership version of the A-12 outfitted with a pylon to which a Lockheed D-21 Drone could be fitted. The drone was designed to reach speeds in excess of Mach 3.3 at an operational altitude of 90,000 feet. It was intended to make a one-way trip, eject its camera payload at the end of the mission for recovery, then self-destruct. Hope you guys enjoy! and yes I know the drone fuselage was much straighter, but I liked it better this way. Stick a pilot in the Mk2 Cockpit, take off, when you get to like 15,000 meters, press 2 and then space to detatch and launch the drone.

A stock aircraft called M-21. Built with 61 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2DroneCore.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
