Description
Today is the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, where a United Airlines flight crashed into the corner of the Pentagon, killing everyone on board, three other flights were hijacked, two hit the World Trade Center, and a third presumed to be heading for the White House went down thanks to the heroic actions of the passengers whose actions spared the lives of people on the ground at the cost of their own. This is a tribute to all the victims of the tragic events that unfolded 17 years ago today. I modeled this after the sculptures at the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. One parting thought I’ve been contemplating I’d like to share. It is only the darkest and most tragic moments that bring out the best in us.
