Description

Another useless modded plane. Has a cruise speed of 0.45 mach (145m/s) at altittudes of 4-6 km. Can fly a bit more than a ¼ of Kerbin circumfence and has low takeoff/landing speed. Flight from KSC to North Pole took almost 2 hours of ingame time.

For takeoff: brakes, SAS, full throttle, deploy flaps (you can deploy slats too, but I believe that they only create drag instead of lift), deflect stabilizer, disengage brakes, 40 m/s - rotate, 45-52 m/s - you are in air, climb rate positive -> retract gears, 70 m/s - retract flaps and reset stabilizer.

For landing: 100 m/s - extend flaps and slats (slats are optional. Again), 60 m/s - deflect stabilizer, ¾ throttle, keep approach speed around 60-55 m/s, touchdown at 45-53 m/s (depends on plane mass), deploy spoilers and reverse the thrust, engage brakes (brakes are very powerful). That was realistic way. You can surely land with clear wing. Landing gears are pretty tough, they can withstand touchdowns with vertical speed of 10 m/s .
