Description

The Harbinger Mech is an experimental design intended to test the upper limit of bipedal mech size. It utilises very long, springy, digitigrade legs to absorb the shock of each stride during walking, which is something of an ordeal for a automation of this size. The legs have a slight negative camber to increase stability. The mech also features long, almost simian arms which are instrumental in balancing the movement of the mech, acting as counterweights for the pendulous legs.

The mech itself has limited practical usage. It is prone to toppling over, especially when traversing rugged terrain and coming to a halt. However, it still makes quite a unique spectacle.

Top Speed: 6m/s
Walking Speed: 4m/s
Mass: 15.2 tons

To control the Harbinger, ensure that you set the SAS to point Radial Out, as this will assist in keeping the mech upright.
