Description
One of my favourite aircraft to fly, the Furaito is fast, stable and manoeuvrable. She is powered by two electric engines, each with 21 reaction wheels and 6 prop blades. She operates comfortable at a range of altitudes, with a top speed of 222m/s and about 190m/s at 6000m.
She takes her name after the Japanese word for ‘flight’, and both the Bristol Brigand and de Havilland Hornet served as inspiration for her appearance.
To fly, press ‘1’ to detach the propellers and engage the brakes. Switch to the propellers and hold ‘Alt’ and ‘Q’ for the port engine and ‘Alt’ and ‘E’ for the starboard engine. Disengage the brakes. Once at about 80m/s, switch to the propellers and press ‘2’ to change the prop blade pitch.
When landing, activate SAS for both engines and press ‘2’ to create more drag. Don’t brake too sharply on landing or it will flip, wait for it to slow down first.
A stock aircraft called Furaito. Built with 121 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.4.3.
