Description
Traverse the coastlines of Kerbin in style! A float-plane version of my Dragonfly biplane. The floats and larger wing area make her a little slower, with a top speed of 51m/s.
To fly, press ‘space’ to detach the cockpit, then EVA the crew and put them in the command seats. Then, press ‘space’ again to detach the propeller. Switch to the propeller assembly and hold ‘alt’ and ‘e’. The aircraft should begin moving and rise into the air without any input. Once in the air, press ‘2’ to change the pitch of the propellers, allowing the aircraft to reach it’s top speed. The aircraft is very difficult to take off and land, so try and be patient and after a bit of practice you should be able to do it.
A stock aircraft called Dragonfly F. Built with 121 of the finest parts, its root part is miniFuselage.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
