The bronco was built on the Idea of a short range, low altitude research craft. the Bronco makes for an excellent terrestrial research craft, sporting all basic science equipment and room for 2 Kerbals. The triplane design allows for maximum lift at low speed. This allows for the craft to take off at just under 20 m/s. Lower speeds allow Kerbals to take in the sights, except for Jeb, who appears to be asleep when travelling under 100 m/s.
To fly:
Load your favorite Kerbals in the command pod and launch.
Transfer the Kerbals to their seats. Action group 5 will toggle the ladder.
Stage to decouple the engine. Then switch to the engine using [ or ].
Spin the motor up to maximum by pressing alt + e.
Switch back to the main aircraft using [ or ], and fly as normal! The plane should lift off by itself at just under 20 m/s. Action group 3 will run all experiments on board, which includes a thermometer, mystery goo, atmosphere analyzer, barometer, seismometer, and gravimeter.
For some reason this latest update made the engine more reliable, but be wary still when loading things in and out of physics range, as this seems to mess things up.
