Description
As the eveolved version of the Guppy shuttle, the Bluegill boasts large payload mass to Kerbin’s moons. Unlike the Guppy, the Bluegill has a downward facing cargo bay, optimized for delpoying payloads on the surface of the Mun. To help, extra Vernor RCS thrusters were placed on the belly of the vehicle and can be actuated with the traslation controls. The Bluegill is equipped with external droptanks for the Trans-Munar Injection and Munar capture burns. With all the extra mass, the launch vehicle aslo needed an upgrade, now sporting two external tanks. As a result the vehicle has been nicknamed the Double barrel
.
