Even though the original Fubuki
is still the best fighter jet in SKDB fleet, it was obvious that we needed a faster plane. The interceptor version of F-127 shouldn’t have been a hard thing to build, but of course i didn’t want to simply throw nearly the same plane on KerbalX again.
…
F-127I spent a lot of time in development, while we were making a lot of experiments with aerodynamics and engines. The plane even saw combat in some local KSP roleplays, but was never finished… until now. So what’s the difference?
The first thing is, of course, engines. Two RAPIERs, isn’t that great? They are not effective at low speeds, but the faster you go, the better it gets. Vertical stabilizers were replaced with bigger ones to improve stability at high speeds. And… wait, that’s all? Of course not, because a lot of internal modifications were made to make the plane fly like we wanted it to fly … ah…
…
Yeah, that’s all, i can’t think of good description because i’m straight up not having a good time, but hey, it’s a plane with NO DLC! Yay. Have fun.
