TV-117 is another V/STOL aircraft by SKDB, but this time in a more retro style. It’s named after the T-116 Veteor, which was our worst aircraft ever…

Yes, the original Veteor was made to be bad, but Veteor II was made to be cool! It’s powered by four rotating Juno engines and weights six and a half tons, but somehow we managed to make it even faster than the FV-308B Ferret! And yes, this plane is inspired by the Sea Vixen - another interesting British jet.

TV-117 has a lot of similarities with FV-308B, except that it doesn’t have additional reaction wheels or probe cores, so be careful while hovering, it’s not as agile when it’s not moving.

While taking off or landing it be very careful - the long tail is very easy to break, so avoid slamming the plane into the ground. If you flied the Ferret, you should be familiar with VTOL controls. If you didn’t, try it too! You can always find all action groups in the craft description.

Oh, and one more thing: there is no ladders, so you have to climb on the plane. The easiest way to do this is shown on the right. Good luck!
