Introducing the LP-111X! Not only it’s our first propeller plane, but it’s also a passenger one! This pretty bird can reach 235 m/s in horizontal flight, and can take you anywhere almost for free, thanks to the super efficient fuel cells+electric rotor combo that we used in our helicopters.

Flying the Molniya should be easy when you understand how everything works.

To start the plane you have to press 0 first - engines are disabled by default so you don’t accidentally take off without turning on the Fuel Cells.
Propeller pitch needs to be adjusted manually if you want to fly fast. By default it’s at 120%, which is enough for take off, but you have to carefully decrease it to accelerate the plane. First 100, then 90, 80, 70, and finally you stop at 67%, where your speed would be more than 230 m/s!
Don’t change prop pitch too fast, or the plane will start losing speed.
Right click any of the propeller blades to see their pitch value (Authority Limiter).
If you need to stop the propellers, press 9.

To land the plane, increase prop pitch to about 130%, deploy flaps by pressing 1 and softly touch the ground, then quickly set pitch to 150% to completely remove all thrust.
Don’t pull up too hard, or propeller blades will hit the ground and you will lose your pilot license. And NEVER use time warp, because even worse things will start happening and you may destroy the plane completely by doing this.

Because it’s powered by electric motors, the Molniya should be able to fly on any planet with atmosphere, like Eve!
