Description
This is a replica of Boeing’s potential moon lander. I took some liberties, as this is just a concept, but is fairly accurate compared to the concept art that I saw. The landers for the Artemis mission are meant to be delivered to the Gateway station un-crewed, at which point they are boarded and sent down to the lunar surface. This lander is not designed to re-enter the atmosphere, so you need to bring a separate crew capsule to bring the crew home. AG 1 deploys the lander’s solar panels and ladder, and 2 activates the ascent stage and retracts the ladder. This lander comes inside the SLS Cargo Block 2 rocket (Which was quickly built so not really accurate), like it would in real life.
