Description
It’s been a while since I posted anything, but I’m back with more expanse themed craft! This is a simple replica of a missile used in the expanse, used in the show to blow up the martian moon Deimos. Powered by a very powerful nuclear engine (this time an actual one), this should outrun any spacecraft which is unlucky enough to encounter it, able to pull +25 Gs of acceleration. (As _dan has probably notice, I have a tendency to overclock all my craft engines…) The nose is empty, so feel free to put whatever tools of destruction inside.
Launch sequence:
1 activates engine, 2 removes the safety, 3 ejects the control vanes. (Whether these are control vanes or something else in the show is contested.) The large size of this missile does beg the question of where these things can actually be fitted onto, but that’s a question for another day.
I derived the name from another video game, and tried to make the missile as close as possible to the scenes which I based this off. due to the extremely high engine power, I had to make the missile symmetrical else it would lose control (something my larger expanse capital ships also suffer from.)
A stock aircraft called ASGNM-10H Cyclone Nuclear Warhead. Built with 193 of the finest parts, its root part is Size1p5.Tank.01.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.

Comparing it with the few shots of the missiles I based it off, it is pretty accurate. (above vs below)
I’m coming for you Ike!
I used the above scenes as the basis for this build. It turns out that there is a much better quality photo of the missile that I forgot existed! (on the right). The missile does look a bit different, but it isn’t entirely dissimilar… I may rebuild this in the future if I have time (which rarely seems to be the case nowadays :(
