The Bottlenose is a VSSTO inspired  by the designs of an old KSP player named Rune. Named in honor of Rune’s Orca SSTO, and for its resemblance to a Coca Cola bottle.

Tested as capable of reaching a 100x100 equatorial orbit with 12mT of payload, and making a powered landing on Kerbin with the remaining fuel. Spin on reentry has been corrected.

For insertion, pitch to 80 degrees when vertical speed reaches 90m/s, hold prograde, maintain 45s to apoapsis.

For return, deorbit with a periapsis of 40km, toggle the brake action group, reenter broadside, deploy gear when vessel drops to subsonic speed. Hoverslam at 400m above terrain.

Update 6/20/22: Corrected spin on reentry, swapped central aerospike for a docking port, now tested for 12mT payload, fine-tuned reentry profile, timed out the hoverslam.
