Description
A stock aircraft called Arrowhead Mk.I. Built with 35 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Standard.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.
I am using KSP 1.1.3 becuase of various reports of memory leaks and crashes in KSP 1.2 It’s my first SSTO. Unfortunately it’s really tight getting into orbit, it has around 3 units of fuel left in LKO (Low Kerbin Orbit) enough for slow and steady de-orbiting. I might consider adding OMS (Orbital Manuevering System) (these little monopropellant engines) for as name suggests Orbital Manuevers. You have to be really carefull climbing and gaining speed, rjda, rjdt and rjdr (rcs) (reaction jet device aft, reaction jet device translation and reaction jet device roll) tend to heat up and melt off of the plane. Keep in mind thoug ypou dont have much fuel to get to the orbit, i suggest going to 6km gaining 600m/s climbing at 10 degree rate and when you hit around 1100m/s pitch up to 40 degrees to pas out of the thicker atmosphere faster.
