Description
A stock rocket called Lyrae. Built with 40 of the finest parts, its root part is fairingSize1.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.2.0.
Small, light, cheap, low tech, disposable lifter designed to shoot 3 tonnes to low Kerbin orbit. Should have all parts below tier 6 in the tech tree, meaning it’s usable in career without needing to upgrade the R&D building. Suggest staging the fairing manually (via right click menu) since the second stage RCS (which is used for attitude control in absence of SRB engine gimbals) is hooked to toggle through the stage action group, allowing it to automatically deactivate on launch and reactivate at second stage separation. First stage should have thrust limits of 100% on the core, 50% and 33.5% on the sides, and 40% in the second stage, just in case they got forgotten in the file transition. Third, liquid stage includes automated guidance capabilities.
