The T-129K is a solid combination of firepower, armor and mobility. Based on the T29 and pershing tanks of WW2.
Compared to theprevious models, the Kershing was revolutionary. The new hull gave it a low profile, as opposed to the JagdTyger. The glacis plate was one of the thickest ever fitted on an heavy tank. The wheels fitted with close suspension contributed to lowering the ground pressure and gave better grip on soft terrains. Above them, two wide mudguards to shield the wheels from bombs.
