Description
The Atlas Centaur rockets flew from 1962 to 2004, flying 197 times, failing only 13 times (partially 3), and have launched many prolific missions, including Pioneer 10&11, Mariner 10, Mariner 9,SOHO, the Surveyor Landers, and many more. This rocket features ½ staging, where booster engines slide off the side while the core continues to burn. It also has the Centaur Upper stage, used in many rockets.
A stock rocket called Atlas-Centaur. Built with 146 of the finest parts, its root part is fairingSize2. Apologies for the new link, I updated the rocket for better performance.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.0.0.
