After the transonic flights of the A7-130
Kerssic, Kerbolair started with the
Ariazhuk project to create the first supersonic airliner in Kerbin. There were several difficulties in stopping the plane upon landing, so a rear parachute was installed to stop it in case the runway was not long enough. When all tests were completed, the
Ariazhuk was determined to be capable of reaching speeds of over 2.7M with afterburners, at an altitude of 60,000 feet with relative fuel efficiency, in addition to flying at a supercruise speed of 1.4M at an altitude of 30,000 feet or less. Finally, Kerbin assigned the plane its official sequence code: A7-150P-100.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.8.1.
