The Swond can take off from water with 34 or more tons of cargo, it can travel as far as the antipole with that cargo, drop off that cargo and return to the spaceport (circumnavigate).

Proven to take off from sea with 68 tons of cargo and still be flight worthy.

Following performance measurements were made with a full fuel load and carrying 34 tons of cargo.

Cruise Speed: 275 m/s @ 7 km altitude
Range: ~4000 km (without dropping cargo half way)
Land Take Off Speed: ~100 m/s
Water Take Off Speed: >80 m/s
Max Landing Speed: 100 m/s

Water Take Off Instruction: Have slats and flaps down, run engines at full power, maintain 0° pitch until reaching more than 80 m/s then pitch up hard. Once airborne and past 100 m/s raise slats and flaps.

Caution: Do not land faster than 100 m/s on water or land, and certainly not with breaks ON as you will rip off the lower fuel tanks and gear. Always activate breaks AFTER touchdown.

Bug: Make sure all flaps and slats extend downwards, for some reason KSP will sometimes change the extend direction.

2016.10.23 Update: Closed seams between wing parts to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Added little ladder.
