Finally a working semi-flying wing from me. Can take off and land on Duna with a stall speed of 40-50 m/s @ 500 m with ~20° pitch. A good pilot can take off, enter duna orbit and land back at the starting point, without using the VTOL rockets: just like a airplane.

Sure at a 20° pitch climb it takes ~1500 m/s to make it to 65 km orbit over Duna, but because it can glide all the way down, it is only 42 m/s to de-orbit and land, a little more if poor piloting requires you to use the VTOL engines.

To launch from Kerbin: You will need to download the VAB version of this craft with solid boosters attached, here or move it to VAB yourself and arrange a system of boosters.

Update 2016.8.31:Moved front wheel up to make for more stable running landings on duna, larger RCS tanks for more margin in orbital docking, removed radiators as they are unnecessary

A stock aircraft called Quetzal Duna. Built with 125 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Inline.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.
