Version 1.5 on Minmus with leg damping at 100, leg torque at 50%, and walk speed at 33%.
Description
They move, they groove, they shimmer to the rhythm, LOOK OUT!
Version 1.5: Stronger Leg Motors with stock strength. Better scrap plate. Better folding mode that can now put craft upright if fallen over/upsidedown.
Version 1.4: Tested in 1.12.1. Added control buttons. Switched to landing gear feet. Added Scrap plates to bottom.
Bigger hexopod robot than the Mini-Hexopod. Top speed is ~8 m/s on level ground on Kerbin, although top speed varies by gravity of planet. Max slope climb at any speed is 40°. For operation on lower gravity it is recommended to reduce spring strength of feet: 0.2~0.6 for Mun or 0.6~1 for Duna. Also it is recommended to reduce leg torque and thus power usage per planet: 80%~100% for Kerbin, ~50% for Duna, 20~30% for Mun.
Controllers:
Walking: Walks forwards or backwards if you reverse direction. Action Group: Custom03
Left Turn: Turns left while walking. Reverse direction will cause it to turn right while walking backwards. Action Group: Custom02.
Right Turn: Turns Right while walking. Reverse direction will cause it to turn left while walking backwards. Action Group: Custom04.
Turning in place: Turn in place clockwise, or anti-clockwise is reverse direction. Action Group: Custom06.
Crabing: Will Crab leftwards and rightwards in reverse direction. Action Group: Custom05.
Folding: Folds in/out from most stowable configuration. Can also bring craft back upright if fallen over. Action Group: Custom07.
Extra Keybindings:
Main Throttle = Walking speed.
Wheel Throttle = Leg Torque Limits.
