Description
Update 12020.08.13: Updated to KSP 1.10.1, added attitude control mono-prop to solid fuel rocket motors
No part beyond tech level 6. Titan III
-ish Booster can get it to orbit, upper stage can get it to mun orbit as well as terminate the orbit such that you stage while 3~5 km above the moon at 50~100 m/s surface velocity, then land on the landing stage. Landing stage comes with landing mirror housing, science storage for up to six deplorable instruments, extra batteries and ladder.
Like the real Titan III rocket: mono-propellant is pumped into the nozzle of the solid rockets for attitude control. Have RCS active on take off, use solids alone and only start the core stage when the solids are expelled.
A stock rocket called Gemini Mun C. Built with 97 of the finest parts, its root part is Mk2Pod. Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.10.1.
