General Perpose Kerbal Transporter

Update 7.0: Rebuilt completely for KSP 1.8.1.

Can carry 20 Kerbals. Can reach Low Kerbin Orbit with 600~700 m/s to spare. Once refueled in orbit it has 3970 m/s of delta-v available to go anywhere in the solar system (assuming refueling stations are there). Comes with command pods that allow for excellent cockpit viewing both forward and rear.

Kerbin System Grand Tour: Refueled in Orbit it has enough fuel to go to minmus, land on minmus, take off and go to mun, land on mun and return to Kerbin.

When landing in atmosphere: Fly sideway via sideways control point (custom button #4) pointed with SAS set to retrograde-surface. Distribute propellant appropriately from bow and aft tanks. Extend (custom button #1) and tune stern drag fins (‘i’ and ‘k’ keys). When a few kilometers above the surface and below 500 m/s surface speed, flip to docking port control (custom button #3), switch orientation direction of bow fins and activate RCS. Use engines to land. This procedures works for Duna, Kerbin and Laythe, but depending on entry speed (greater than 4 km/s) you may needed to add a big heat shield on the bow docking port and enter the atmosphere in a pure pro-grade orientation.
