Description
Update of 12018.4.5: Added more science instruments and un-piloted control ability. Now comes with booster engines to get it off Kerbin.
Driving around Duna taking to long? This gets you to anywhere on Duna and back to a base camp quickly. Has enough delta-v so that when fueled up on Duna’s surface it can enter orbit, land up to 3 times without refueling, or twice with enough extra fuel to dink around a lot. You will need a base camp with mining and ISRU to refuel it. I have landed it as high as 5 km mountain plateaus on duna, but requires really good flying skill to land on duna’s surface, best to find someplace smooth. Recommend landing vertical speed <5 m/s and forward speed <100 m/s.
