Can carry up to 7 tons of cargo, sacrificing passanger kerbals and 10% of fuel cappacity verse the Duck I.
Baffled by the popularity of the Duck, I made some improvements: this one is proven to take-off and land, from water, with 7 tons of cargo. Use Custom #1 button to lower wing flaps when taking off and landing to reduce stall speed. RCS button reverses engines, Brake button also deploys tail flaps for air braking.
UPDATE: I noticed that do to the increased mass of wing tip fuel tanks over the predecessor, Duck II tends to waddle when turning on land. So I maxed damping of rear wheels and added wingtip wheels to reduce/survive waddling when turning on terrain, just avoid tight turns on land.
Bug: Sometimes the flaps do not deploy in the right direction, not sure why this happens, KSP error(?) anyways make sure the flaps deploy as seen in the image above.
