Description
The fourth iteration of the Hawk class interceptors, The HCI 26 variant manages to get rid of most of the flaws of its predecesors. The redesigned airframe allows for very high G maneuvers and the addition of the third pair of dorsal fins and a new maneuvering find increase the stability while performing high velocity turns.
The HCI-26 brings back some of the aspects of the Mk 2 variant by incorporating built in wing flaps and integrating limited RCS capabilities.
As for its capabilities, apart from supermaneuverability, the Avenger can also reach up to Mach 2.6 in velocity, has remote control capabilities and has an underside escape hatch for emergency situations.
The interceptor was developed during the 2 Year War by URAD’s Kerman Dunatian Section in order to combat the fierse X-Ray Liberator and Gamma Liberator interceprors.
