A high-end luxury airliner which can take 14 passengers and 20 tons of luggage over 3200 km. Or, the cargo bay can be left empty to give an extra 300 of range. The plane may be expensive for the number of passengers it can carry, but you can charge their socks off for the ride. Each passenger has their own pod with 180° panoramic window, and enough payload for several of the kerbals to bring their cars along in the cargo bay. Oh, and don’t forget the 10 snacks (monopropellant) stored in each pod.
To fly, hold S at 60 m/s. Takeoff should occur around 70-75 m/s. After the landing gear have retracted, turn off SAS. This will switch the plane to cruise mode, and you can now adjust pitch with I and K instead of S and W. I find it easier to fly this way.
To land, aim 5° below the horizon, kill your engines, and turn SAS back on. This should eventually result in a ~80m/s descent at a 8° angle. At about 15 meters above the surface, pitch up with S until your vertical speed is around 3 m/s.
UPDATED: The plane can now go supersonic, carry 2 more passengers, cover twice the range, and drag less on the passenger pods.
