Description

A Harrier replica that shares a resemblance to the GR3 variant built by BAE, this is far more agile than the more basic harrier that I had previously uploaded, and capable of carrying up to six drop tanks, on the vertical engines alone, or their equivalent. WARNING: If landing on buildings, land under the stated 10m/s, if a little above that, the harrier will tend to survive, the building……won’t necessarily.

Vertical takeoff: Set engines to full thrust, and activate action group 1 (this toggles the vertical engines), as soon as you reach an adequate altitude, activate action group 2 (this toggles the forward flight engines) and tilt forward around 5-10 degrees, this will prevent you from entering a steep climb. Once you reach around 70m/s you may de-activate the vertical thrust engines and fly as normal. Vertical Landing: Activate action group 1 and de-activate 2, then being the process of pulling back to bleed off as much speed as possible, keeping your descent rate below 10m/s ideally.

A stock aircraft called BAE Harrier GR3. Built with 80 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.5.
