The Plane

The Antonov A-9 is a single seat glider developed by Oleg Antonov. The model had its first flight in 1948, but only 27 were ever built. The A-9 was supposed to be the successor of the record setting RF-7. But the A-9 never really got a fixed design, so there were many different models and none of them were ever mass produced.

My Interpretation of the Design

As all of my gliders this flies like a rock, it cant land without exploding and it is not really a good fitting replica for the aircraft considering it never had a fixed design. But overall i am happy enough with this, otherwise i wouldn’t be uploading this. Of course there is that way of getting into the air too. Also while i was flying this i found that if one of the wingtips super gently touched the runway the whole thing explodes, KSP just loves putting those explosions.
