The Plane

The Antonov A-7 was a light troop military glider designed by Oleg Antonov in the early 1940s. Its first flight was in 1941. About 400 planes were built starting in 1942. It was able to carry 1 pilot and up to 6 soldiers (the 7 in the designation stands for the 7 people carried). They were used mostly to supply the soldiers fighting against the Axis forces in Poland.

My Interpretation of the Design

Just like the other gliders this glides like a rock. The cockpit also looks strange, but i overall think this replica is better than my A-1 and -2 replicas. Also this is the only glider replica i made that can actually land without desintegrating itself! It still uses rockets to get into the air, but apart from all of that i like it and i hope you like it as well.
