The Plane
The Antonov A-13 is a single seat glider developed by Oleg Antonov. The plane was derived from the A-11 and used a different wing design. The planes first flight took place in 1958 and production started in 1959. 60 of the about 200 built planes were equipped with a turbojet engine, enabling them to reach 196 km/h (122 mph) and break the speed record for planes weighing up to 500 kg. Many planes were used by the DOSAAF to improve the moral in the sowjet citizens moral to defend their country. The plane was approved to do Aerobatics and even fly through and above the clouds.
My Interpretation of the Design
Like what the engineers did in real life I only swapped out the wing and let the rest of the plane be. Has almost the same flight characteristics as the A-11, but somehow I managed to flip the plane over upon landing without to many parts breaking. The tail landing thingy broke on this this version.
