Description

This is a partially reusable spacecraft that is capable of carrying 3 astronauts to Duna and back. Named after Aion, the Greek god of time and infinity.

The first stage is reusable, just make sure you have enough fuel for deorbiting and softening the landing, because parachutes dont slow the craft down enough for a safe landing.

The interplanetary boost stage isnt that special, it just makes sure that the lander gets to Duna.

The landing module of tha lander has enough fuel for a safe propulsive landing on Duna’s surface and to boost the return stage into orbit, which has enough fuel to make sure that its inhabitants can come back home safe. Just in case, the crew capsule has four SuperDraco engines, which can be used for a propulsive landing or for an emergency deorbit.

Although this rocket system was designed to reach Duna, you can use it to visit other worlds. After all, the rocket boasts 11368 m/s of deltaV that you can spend in any way you want.

The crewed module has a docking port for all your docking activities.
