H.V.I.C stands for High Velocity Impact Cannon. This cannon is designed to launch heavy projectiles extremely far, the shell it comes with can reach speeds of over 500 m/s by the time it leaves the barrel. (Needs Ignore max temp. on to fire properly too).
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
