Description
I just built this because I was bored.
It has a Vostok Capsule onboard, with 1.1km/s of Delta-V of fuel and a small Spark engine. I shouldn’t need to give any ascent profile or directions to launch, because it’s pretty straight forward, as it requires no tips or special actions to get it to orbit. I originally made this to be a payload vehicle like what carried sputnik, but I realized it was ending up looking like the Vostok 1 R-7, so I decided to go with that instead. If you want though, you can swap out the Vostok capsule and put some payload on top instead, because that’s what it was originally designed for. It has WAY too much Delta-V, and from launch, it has 5km/s of Delta-V, which is literally enough to get to the mun and come back.
