Full disclosure: This craft uses copious amounts of craft file editing to keep weight under control. Without this, it would weigh nearly 50 tons, making flight impossible.
A scale replica of the Howard 250 Tri-Gear, a conversion of the Lockheed Lodestar.
Flight Instructions / Action Groups:
Stage to separate the props, which should be kept at ~80% throttle for longevity’s sake. AG1 for front gear doors, AG2 for rear gear doors, AG3 for flaps.
Notes:
Uses the same retract mechanism as the Lark.
The max speed is 35 m/s, due to drag from all 817 parts. The flaps provide a lot of drag and can be used for speed control.
Reduce throttle if solar panels start to break.
