The Colossus is ridiculously impractical and unwieldy. Despite this, it still has decent maneuverability, can takeoff within its length, and has a TWR > 1 with afterburners.
There are 71 (count e’m) panther engines, hence the name.
I would say that it has enough cargo space, payload capability and fuel capacity for anything you could ever imagine, except for the fact that there are far easier ways of transporting things than in a 3000+ part cargo plane.
This craft will not run well on any system. I’m running a Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores 12 threads) + an RX 570 and it’s still a slideshow.
This plane was nearly complete six months ago, but then suffered from some sort of craft file corruption making finishing the craft impossible. Thanks to HB_Stratos for attempting to recover the file, although I ended up having to rebuild.
AG1 for afterburners, AG2 for TVC, RCS for gear doors (which will have to be hit twice initially to unlock the control surfaces on the nose doors).
This no longer has the highest part count of any functioning plane on KerbalX.
