The D-5000 - France’s attempt at delta-winging the F-5

In late 1970, France was the recipient of a few aging Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighters. Upon acquisition of these new F-5s, Dassault began experimenting with wing configurations via the F-5A. What resulted was the D-5000, a tailless delta wing configuration applied to a F-5A chassis. Several modifications were applied before its first test flight in June 1976, the most drastic of which includes a redesigned rudder and a improved single engine layout. The data obtained during test flights aided in development of the Dassault Mirage 2000.

A stock aircraft called D-5000 Azure. Built with 104 of the finest parts, its root part is mk1pod.v2.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.3.
