After Many Requests and many hours and so much procrastination, i give you the updated B-24, actually prop powered this time. Big thanks to holiday for the pictures.

Now the Legendary box the B-17 came in B-24 served in both theaters very prominently, and even into the korean war in certain variants.

It was much loved by it’s crews due to it’s higher speed, better armament and lower loss rate than the B-17.

I was once told a story third-hand by a grandson of a b-24 pilot who told me that his grandpa began to notice the bomber became more and more unwilling to take off so they loaded fewer and fewer bombs, eventually it got to the point where they got off the runway and immediately had to turn back because it could not climb at all. when the pilot went to inspect the plane, he found that the waist gunners had plastered the entire waist section in flak jackets. he asked them what’s all this and one responded we got our own tank back here boss

they had to tear it all out.

To FLY

hold alt and E until it’s all the way over, then stage, hit Alt and X then turn on sas once it’s stopped wiggling and then wait for 40, then lift off.

To LAND

Leave your engines on until you’re about to touch down, the glide slope is abysmal and you will crash and burn if you turn them off early.
