All of you have just been allowed to pilot the best spacesplane MOTORMANN Aerospace and ROSKOSMOS has to offer.
Behold: The BRIGADIER!
This mighty spaceplane can take-off from any Kerbin’s airfield like a regular plane, or vertically from a helipad
(given it fits the size of a craft). The BRIGADIER has enough power and fuel to take to orbit any load, like BURAN orbiter, any other spaceship, or even just a ship.
A seaboat, if you like

BRIGADIER is a heavy VTOL SSTO spaceplane, powered by two MX-35 fission reactors (toggle with key 1),
which provide megawatts of electric power for five SURGE warpjets (key 4), allowing a very effective
atmospheric acceleration on most planets with an atmosphere.
Two giant ARI-73 drives (toggle with key 3) are the ship’s main engines, ideal for orbital and atmospheric
propulsion alike, as they require no oxidizer. Vast amounts (1500 t.) of LF are stored onboard this 3000 tonnes
spaceplane, as well as 100 tonnes of monopropellant for RCS drives and 400 tonnes of oxidizer, required for six
KS-25 VECTOR vertical take-off and landing liquid fuel engines (toggle them with key 5).
There are also two forward-facing smaller ARI-73 engines in the front section of fuselage, which are set to 100% throttle by default, (enable with key 8) and act as braking drives so that you
won’t need to manouver the whole spaceplane to retrograde.
In a vast cargo bay (open/close with key 6) you will find many sensors for planetary surveys, as well as towing and docking machinery. There are also two massive FTL drives, which will enable you to jump to any system, given you previously planted a FTL beacon there. A surface drill and a converter are also located in cargo bay, so you may replenish your fuels anywhere in the Kerbalverse, if there’s sufficient amount of ORE underneath your ship, ofcourse.
Last but not least, your BRIGADIER is an ultimate weapons platform, equipped with several laser weapons, SSAM turrets, radars, FLIRs (enable all with key 9) and all kinds of Countermeasures
(tap 0 to fire), also providing four external heavy ordnance mounts.
There are both ventral and dorsal docking ports, as well as a fore streamlined shielded port in front of a cockpit. Spacecraft is equipped with emergency chutes (toggle with key 7) and crew ejection seats (backspace)

Flight recommendations:
In atmosphere, with full fuel load and cargo, BRIGADIER flies like a brick, with a full turn radius of ten to twenty kilometers, but as it gets lighter, its perfomance increases. By default, the spaceplane is equipped with four external LF tanks set to deplete in the first place, jetisson those (key 2) as soon as they’re dry.
Remember to use RCS in atmosphere to help you steer this super-heavy spaceplane.
Air brakes are very efficient, so use them carefully, do not overheat during early stage of reentry.
In higher layers of atmosphere, as your SURGE warpjets start to eat up all your electricity, you may discharge three super-capacitators, thus gaining the power needed to get to the orbit, just remember to charge them.
Tune reactors’ output to your needs, do not allow overheat. While there are plenty of radiators onboard, heat just might accumulate, and lead to explosion as you start to reenter atmosphere. As you timewarp to another system, just shut both MX-35s down, so that you dont run out of Nuclear Fuel.
For the purposes of safety during loading and placing of craft on a launchpad, BRIGADIER is equipped with launch gauntries, just press space to release. As usual, download and copy with replacement provided GameData folder:
