#Refueler #Replica #Airliner #707

Description

Double-whammy! This replica is slightly more functional than the Sentry, because it actually can refuel, albeit with great difficulty.

Oh my god how does it work?
Using the power of Bendy-Techâ„¢, the entire mechanism can be one craft, with an Elevon actuating the boom. [H] is used to raise the boom and [N] lowers the boom. It has around 50 degrees of movement so it should be fine for most things.

There are two methods of locking on to the boom, namely the claw and the docking port jr. Use whichever suits your needs.

Unfortunately, docking ports couldn’t be used due to the requirement that the boom has variable movement (translation: I forgot and was lazy), which means that the refueling boom when attached to a plane can and will be rather floppy. At the end of the day, either the boom or the plane will fall off, probably.

In the unlikely event you’ve succeeded in locking both craft together, you will only have a few seconds to complete the refueling before the control surfaces switch up, making the craft uncontrollable. Fuel can be siphoned from the KC-135’s center fuel tank or its tail fuel tank, with a total of ~8000 units of fuel to spare for refueling, assuming you don’t use this much fuel trying to approach the tanker in the first place.

Flaps

Extend with [K], retract with [I]. Krueger flaps are toggled by Gear.

V-speeds

Vr-70m/s (Beware striking the boom on rotation)
